3Mâ„¢ Weatherbanâ„¢ Ribbon Sealant PF 5422 is a thread reinforced preformed butyl rubber sealant tape. It offers a watertight, gasket-like seal around window and door frames and glass bedding applications. This sealant can also act as a metal seam sealer in overlap seams, building panels, rain gutters, and can be used in conjunction with mechanical fasteners.
Maintains tack at temperatures as low as 40°F / 5°C, permitting application in unheated areas. May be positioned side by side to achieve varying widths. Repositionable without cleanup. Solvent free. Stays in position on vertical or overhead surfaces. Thread-reinforced butyl tape. Weather resistant
