The 3M™ Cut-Off Wheel 654BK is a general purpose cut-off wheel for carbide tool manufacturing. With a highly concentrated diamond abrasive mineral, solid construction and a steel core, it is commonly used for trimming tool blanks on carbides, high speed steels and hard metals.
Coolant: water oil emulsion. Offers balance between form retention and cut rate. Performs well on carbides, high speed steels and hard metals. Resin bond construction with 100 mesh diamond mineral. Typically used on the cutting end of the tool when re-grinding and the shank end when forming a blank
