Our Standard Abrasivesā¢ Silicon Carbide Overlap Disc compresses when entering a hole or cylinder to provide coverage of inside diameters. Used for push and push/pull applications, it is useful mainly for deburring applications on stainless steel, rubber, plastic and composites. It has a threaded eyelet arbor hole for mandrel attachment.
Cloth backing provides added durability to resist tearing and fraying. Compatible Standard Abrasivesā¢ Mandrels are available separately. Effective on stainless steel, rubber, plastic and composites. Overlapped construction compresses for contact with internal radii, holes, and cylinder walls. Sets of 2 discs are used for push applications. Sets of 4 discs are used for push/pull applications. Stacked discs supply a firm, aggressive cut. Useful for light to medium deburring, polishing, cleaning, blending and chamfering applications
